Moved to QA department and am currently maintaining knowledge of all lines in THV.  Cross-trained into boxing department and PV lab and assisted with testing of functionality of all products. Assisted with DHR inside manufacturing, daily audits and multipack audits.

Quality Assurance Inspector (A1 Shift)-

Responsibilities: Duties included being a floater for day shift QA's when they were absent, not available or in need of additional help in their respective departments. This included coverage and knowledge of five different departments.

Head Custodian-

Responsibilities: Maintain school grounds and keep facilities clean. Maintain

graphs and reviewed them with the appropriate supervisor. Filed documents, coordinated company audits, assisted with calibration software validations, resolved problems and made routine recommendations. Helped with training and education of tools for management and production procedures for calibration.

Responsibilities: Multitask with QA, Document Control and Calibration

Technician. conducted environmental monitoring and testing per procedures weekly,

monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually. Tested Surface, Finger, Airborne Microbial, Airborne Particulates, RODI Water system with Hardness test, Compressed Air with Dew Point Test, Bioburden of products, cleaning logs, vermin control and chemicals inventory. Coordinated tests, working with vendors, completed all data entry, insured accuracy of paperwork, and graphs and shipped samples to labs. Creating and insured understanding of graphs and trending, participated in reviews with appropriate supervisor, filed all documents, helped with product knowledge, worked directly with contractors and conducted company trainings for others to receive general instruction. Worked with EWO, (Exception Work Order), system validation of clean rooms, emergency testing and audits in-house and from KEMA and the FDA and acquired knowledge of MSDS (Material Standard Data Sheet).

Helped conduct reviews of work orders for GMP, insured entries were completed in the computer, that all NCR’s were completed, that all ECR’s were followed, all counts were accounted for and insured that all tests were completed. Responsibilities: Multitask with Environmental Technician and Document

Control Department. Inspect and test products according to sample sizes, conduct daily audit reviews, reporting areas for GMP and made sure products were built according to SOP. Coordinated daily, weekly, and monthly audits, verified training records and inspected incoming parts in the material warehouse. Also inspected and pull tested outgoing products for final release after sterilization and performed follow-up on NCR’s (Non Conformance Reports) and ECR (Emergency Change Reports).

Responsibilities: Printing unit and carton labels and DFU’s (Direction For Use)

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

 

Assisted with the first OnLine Labeling System in Boxing Department for Edwards

Life Sciences. Received Employee of the Year in 2001 with the Quality Champion Award for outstanding commitment to detail and quality. Reorganized and implemented a better flow system for the Calibration and Environmental Department through the 5-S system. Implemented the first in-house Compressed Air Microbial Test for the Environmental Department which resulted in a company savings of $400.00 per year.

Received Employee of the Year in 2010 at Bluff Elementary School. Helped

administer Community Activities in Bluff, UT, for parents, kids and families. Currently serving on the Utah Area Board of Directors for ChildHelp, a National Charity which raises funds for the education and prevention of child abuse nationwide.
